Terms of Service

1. Your account

You need an account to use most of Master Setter. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@master-setter.com immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Free and Pro plans

Master Setter offers a free tier with limited capabilities and a paid Pro tier that unlocks the full feature set. Free accounts are subject to limits, including a maximum number of cards tracked, and may be limited to English-language sets.

Pro is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout (currently $4.99 USD per month). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can cancel at any time through the Manage Subscription link on the Settings page, which opens the Stripe billing portal, or by emailing support@master-setter.com.

When you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account downgrades to Free; your collection data remains intact and you can resubscribe at any time.

3. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first Pro subscription. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of your initial Pro purchase, email support@master-setter.com and we'll issue a full refund and downgrade your account to Free.

Outside of the 7-day window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future billing. Where local consumer protection laws require additional refund rights, those laws apply on top of this policy.

4. Failed payments

If your renewal payment fails, your account will be marked past due and you'll receive a notice to update your payment method. Stripe will retry the charge over a short window. If the payment still cannot be completed, your account will be downgraded to Free. Your data is preserved and you can resume Pro at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Master Setter to break any law.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, mass-download, or reverse engineer Master Setter for the purpose of building a competing service.
• Misuse other users' data, including following, contact, or social features.
• Upload content to public binders that infringes third-party rights, harasses other users, or is unlawful.
• Create multiple accounts to evade limits or bans.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We will give notice and the chance to fix the issue when reasonable; for severe abuse we may act immediately.

6. Your content

When you mark cards as owned, build custom binders, set them public, or follow other trainers, you create content within the service. You keep ownership of your content. By making a binder public or otherwise sharing content on the service, you grant Master Setter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the service for as long as you keep it public.

7. Pokémon trademarks and card data

Pokémon, the Pokémon TCG, all card names, character names, and related imagery are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc. Master Setter is an independent fan-built service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these companies.

Card data and images displayed on Master Setter are sourced from publicly available databases (Pokémon TCG API, TCGdex, and others) and are used under fair-use principles for the purpose of collection tracking. We do not claim ownership of any card artwork or rights to the Pokémon intellectual property.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Master Setter available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release new features, modify existing ones, or retire features as the service evolves. When changes meaningfully affect paying Pro subscribers, we will communicate them in advance.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Master Setter is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. Card prices and values displayed are estimates from third-party data sources and may not reflect actual market value or what any specific buyer will pay. Don't make purchase decisions solely on the basis of values shown in the app.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Master Setter and Stoke Strategies LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You can stop using Master Setter at any time. You can request permanent deletion of your account by emailing support@master-setter.com; we will permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days. We can suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or unlawful use.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we'll let active users know in-app or by email. Continued use of Master Setter after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
