Privacy Policy

Master Setter (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Pokémon TCG collection tracking service operated by Stoke Strategies LLC, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use master-setter.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. 1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run the service.

Account infoEmail address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and a username you choose.Profile dataDisplay preferences (theme, language, collection mode), profile details you set, and follow relationships with other users.Collection dataThe cards you mark as owned, variant counts, custom binders, and binder notes. This is the data the service exists to track.Billing dataIf you upgrade to Pro, we store a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status. We never see or store your credit card number — payments are handled directly by Stripe.Usage dataStandard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and anonymized analytics about which pages users visit, used to keep the service running and improve it.

2. How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Operate the service, including showing you your collection on any device.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Process Pro subscription payments via Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, password reset, payment receipts).
  • Provide social features like public binders and following.
  • Measure usage in aggregate so we can prioritize improvements.
  • Detect and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

3. Third-party services

Master Setter relies on a small number of well-known providers to deliver the service.

SupabaseDatabase and authentication. Stores your account, profile, and collection data. Hosted in the United States.StripePayment processing. Receives your card information directly when you upgrade; we only see a customer ID and subscription status.VercelHosts the website and provides anonymized analytics about page visits.Pokémon TCG API, TCGdexProvide card database information. These are read-only sources; no user information is sent to them.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We share data with them only as needed to operate the service.

4. Cookies and local storage

Master Setter uses cookies and browser local storage for things that have to be remembered:

  • An authentication cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in.
  • Local storage for your selected theme, sidebar state, and offline collection cache.
  • Anonymized analytics cookies set by Vercel.

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings. Logging out will end your session cookie.

5. Your rights and choices

You can:

  • Access your data — most of it is visible in the app itself.
  • Export your collection — contact us at support@master-setter.com.
  • Correct your data — edit your profile in Settings.
  • Delete your account — email support@master-setter.com and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
  • Cancel your subscription — through the Manage Subscription link on the Settings page, or by emailing support.

Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Send any such request to support@master-setter.com.

6. Children

Master Setter is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for everything you send or receive, row-level security on the database so users only see their own data, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced in-app and, where required by law, by email.
