MasterSetter

About

Built by a collector, for collectors.

Master Setter is a Pokémon TCG collection tracker. It exists because I collect Pokémon cards and nothing else on the internet actually tracked them the way I wanted to track them.

Pokellector’s a mess. pkmn.gg is clean but it’s English-only and the variant coverage is light. Every spreadsheet I tried fell apart the moment I picked up a Japanese set or wanted to count a Cosmos Holo separately from a standard one. So I built the thing I wanted: every set, every language, every variant, with master-set completion as a first-class feature instead of an afterthought.

I’m Zac. I run Stoke Strategies out of Fort Lauderdale and I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards seriously for a few years now. Master Setter is the long-term passion project — eventually the goal is to make this my full-time job, but for now it lives alongside the family business and the kids.

The site is built by hand, hosted on Vercel, backed by Supabase, and paid for by a small Pro tier. No VC, no ads, no scraping your data to resell. If something bugs you or breaks, I want to know — email me at support@master-setter.com.

The Pokémon TCG ecosystem also has gaps

A lot of older sets and non-English regions have patchy public data. That’s a slow grind to fix — we’ve been backfilling Japanese, Korean, Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified), and the European languages continuously since launch. If a card or set looks broken to you, email me. User reports speed up the queue significantly.

What’s next

  • Deeper multilingual variant coverage.
  • Photo import — snap your binder page and have the cards added automatically.
  • Trading and want-list features that talk to other collectors.
  • Whatever you ask for, basically. The roadmap is open and feedback drives it.
